Jack Rutter Visits Woodstock School
On the 17th of November we were pleased to welcome Jack Rutter the Paralympian who was a former captain of the England football team in this category. His visit is part of the Sports for Schools initiative. This seeks to get athletes into school to share their enthusiasm for sport and to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle.
On the day he treated all the classes to a short but intense work out session. It was a great afternoon with loads of energy and enthusiasm. Following on from this, Jack Rutter gave a Zoom meeting to the whole school, where he described his journey from an enthusiastic young child to the events which lead him to the Paralympics.
